Starlight, Starbright.

He was the star, you, the starlight.
Through your inspiration, he shone bright.
A truer love story, has yet seen the page.
A timeless romance, that knows no age.

When he needed strength, you were never apart.
When he needed faith, you gave him your heart.
You slept when he slept, not before, not after.
He opened his arms, you fell into his rapture.

Starlight, star bright, a match from above.
It’s what we need today, the answer is love.
A star only shines, with the light it is given.
Your trust and devotion, gave him his vision.

A love song unending, every choir should sing.
Every author should write, the joy it can bring.
As my ink-marks dry, humble words may reveal.
A sincere wish to share your love story so real.

As my verse finds its way, you to know, is my will.
How much you were loved, and how much you are still.

For you, Grace, his shining star.

This poem is from my book, Follow Your Stars.
